QUILLEN, WILLIAM JETT, 55, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2005, at his residence. He was a graduate of Waggener High School and a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Music. He was multi-talented as an artist, poet and photographer. Mr. Quillen was an accomplished violist and violinist and occasionally substituted with the Louisville Orchestra and Walnut Street Baptist Church Orchestra. "He was a dedicated gentleman to the care of his mother." He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father in 1970. Survivors include his mother, Carmel Jett Quillen of Louisville; sister, Mary Catharine Quillen Dornin; brother-in-law, Christopher Laird Dornin of Concord NH; three nieces, Sarah, Rebecca and Rachel Dornin; and two nephews, Christopher and Laird Dornin.
