Sims, John Norman Jr., 66, died peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Norton Hosparus Unit in Louisville.
John was born on April 6, 1950 in Daytona Beach, FL, to Ina Sims and the late John Norman Sims. He was a graduate of Earlham College, a retired computer support technician for the University of Louisville and a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Jeffersonville. John was an avid reader and book collector, enjoyed Facebook where he developed a large community of friends, and loved following baseball online.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Virginia "Ginny" Sims; a daughter, Molly Braun; two brothers, James Sims (Caroline Fairless); Peter Sims (Pam); and two grandchildren, Ainsley and Ezekiel Braun.
